This is the latest update from Erik and Jenny Reyes in Sucre, Bolivia. As you can see, Jenny has had some serious health problems lately. Please pray for them!

"As I was sharing in the team letter. It has been a GREAT month. Our schedules are overflowing and we are thankful to God for the growth he is causing. I feel like we are trying to work smarter.. We are half a team right now.. and there is so much work. We are excited. I continue to disciple some of my close Christian friends in the church weekly with one on one discipleship and it is going just GREAT! We are focusing on personal evangelism.. because like I said we are trying to work smarter. These girls are focusing on reaching the lost in their prayers, in meditation, reading, memorization of scripture that they can use in sharing the gospel, and activities to help them put into practice their growth. It is going really good and we are all encouraged. These ladies are ones I´ve talked about in previous reports. Carla Duran, Mary Solis, Marta Solis, and Sintia Santos. Erik is working his heart out. He has been such a strength and friend to me during this time. God has given me a wonderful husband. For three days this week he took care of me while I was in bed/bathroom with another intestinal infection. He juggled taking care of me, work, the babies and cooking. I don´t know what I would do without him. He even took Mia with him to his Bible studies. We didn´t go to the hospital this time.. I resisted (would rather not) and so Erik called Dr. Ernesto that goes to church and lives a block from us. Dr. Ernesto came to our house at 3 in the morning and waited with me until a taxi brought some injections from a pharmacy. He gave me two shots to stop the nausea fainting and vomiting. I lost an unpleasant 10 pounds in 3 days, not fun at all. I am so thankful to God that Dr. Ernesto is in the church. I don´t know what we would have done. God is good. Please pray for us with our fights with the bacterial infections here.

Many friends that we have been sharing with have been coming to church. Vicky and Jhonny and their two babies (Valeria and Fernanda), Faysalette and her two children (Valentina and Mateo), also Juanita, Daniel, Fabiola and her daughter Orieta, and Rita.

We did a little Thanksgiving dinner, (without turkey no turkey was here) but we did what we could.. (missing the cranberry sauce and pumpkin) but I made a zapallo pie.. kind of the same. But here is what was embarrassing, we celebrated it a week too early and found out later we had done it on the wrong Thursday. So embarrassing, but I guess it´s not our fault since we´ve only met one other couple here from the States, and we never bump into them… so how were we to know. It was still a good thanksgiving chicken and zapallo pie eaten a week too early, with our close Bolivian friends. Ha ha.. We´ll try to get Christmas on the right date this month.

This week Erik had a wrap up study with some of friends that we have been sharing Christ with for a long time. They have said that they are ready to give their lives to Christ. We`ve made preparations for Faysalette, Sonia, Weymar, and Daniel to have their baptisms tomorrow. We hope that it will be a day of GREAT celebration.

Thank you for all you do. We miss you, The Reyes family

PS. Today is Monday two days after Jenny wrote the reports. Yesterday we had two new babies in Christ, Jose Moises and Isabel. Good news they have been studying for months, we believe they where ready in the past. I know taht there is always fear of failing God. Eventhough we teach about His grace... Anyways thenk you for your prayers... "
