This week we received our monthly report from Erik Reyes, our missionary in Bolivia. Following is an excerpt from his report:
"Let me share a few highlights from this month. It seems as though God always has a way of moving in mysterious ways. One of the highlights was that the Christian radio station here has began to announce our courses for free. We have had contacts already from the announcement they have been giving regarding the Bible courses at El Camino. Another highlight is that we´ve placed a newspaper add announcing the courses, and it is showing to be successful.
There are many taking courses at El Camino and new contacts walk in every day. Pray that God´s word will bring the change that is needed in these lives. We have been able to reach some new families with Erik´s course (Building a Home). We hope that this will prove effective in bringing more families to know Christ and his salvation for their lives and as a whole family.
We ask your prayers regarding our meeting times on Sundays. Although the work is going great during the week, we are having little interest from our students as far as Sunday worship is concerned. Please pray that God will show us how to encourage their lives, and show how this would bless them and their relationship with God and the body.
Thank you for your love, and your encouragement....
Concerning my family we are doing fine and bless. As God promises that He gives new strength to the weak. I do feel weak without Him working in my life I need Him everyday, in my family and in the work, in every area of my life. thank you for praying for my family and the team.
Jenny and Zion went to visit their folks in Ecuador, It was a great time for Jenny and Zion. they came with new energy and bless.
I would like for you to pray for this brother, Juan sandoval and his family. He is a good brother that is always studying the Bible with us and teaching others. But he is having a hard time finding a job. He is over fifty years old and he really tries, but looks like doors are close for him , just because of his age. But anyways there is nothing impossible for God. We are waiting in God, please kkep him in your prayers.
I have a new course (building home) It is going great. It is not an easy course I am really praying for wisdom and studying. But it is a blessing for them and for me...
Thank you for your prayers and your support.
God Bless
The Reyes. "
As you can see, the Reyes family continues to work hard to evangelize the area around Sucre, Bolivia. Please keep them and the work in your daily prayers.
